The Purchaser: Entering into a retail sales contract
Once the Purchaser's bid is accepted by the Vendor's Expo-Shop, the Vendor will act in accordance with articles 77 to 83 of the Belgian law of July, 14, 1991, ruling distance sales. Prices are given taxes excluded. Legally, we have to apply a VAT of 21% on the price of the articles and on the delivery services which are shipped to the European Community. This is the percentage of VAT used in Belgium where our site is hosted and where our company operates. We don't apply VAT on orders shipped outside the European Community. In this case, the price does not contain local taxes that you might eventually have to pay when receiving the goods in your country. The products chosen by the Purchaser will be delivered to him according to the shipping policy he selected. The Purchaser has the choice between two types of delivery service:
If, for reasons beyond its control, the Vendor cannot deliver all, or part, of the goods, it will warn the Purchaser by e-mail at the latest 7 days after the payment acceptance. At the same time, the Vendor will ask Citibank to cancel the credit card payment. If the Purchaser faces a problem with the products sent, he can return his order to the Vendor within the 7 days following the reception of the product (reflection period). After this date, no product will be replaced or reimbursed by the Vendor. Return Policy Rules:
With regard to future contractual relationships, the contracting parties agree that the computerized registers, kept in the computer systems of each party, under reasonable security conditions, will be admitted as evidence of communications, contracts and payments that have been made between the contracting parties. The keeping of registers is presumed to have taken place under reasonable security conditions if the documents are systematically recorded on a lasting and unalterable database. Any limitation resulting from the execution or the interpretation of the present contract falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the Brussels Court of First Instance (Tribunal de Première Instance de Bruxelles) or the Justice of Peace of the First Canton of Brussels (Justice de Paix du premier canton de Bruxelles.)
